Natural Remedies For Discolored Elbows And Knees

Natural remedies for discolored elbows and knees

As with other areas of the skin, elbows and knees tend to darken over time due to the accumulation of dead skin cells and other impurities that settle in the skin. Although we sometimes forget these two areas, you will notice that these areas are darker than the rest of the skin if you take a look. This is because we often use these areas to support ourselves and put them on surfaces without thinking that they can get dirty.

In addition to getting darker with time, knees and elbows also tend to dry out because they do not have as many sebaceous glands. This can lead to cracks that make it even easier to form impurities, making the skin look uncomfortable both in tone and texture.

Although discolored skin is not a medical condition that affects your health, it is unflattering. Fortunately, there are ways to lighten the skin on the knees and elbows naturally, by exfoliating dead skin cells for a healthier look.
